Basic Requirements for PP-R Pipes and Fittings
① Pipes and fittings must be hygienic, non-toxic, and free from contamination.
② The heat resistance of pipes and fittings must allow for long-term use at water temperatures above 95°C, with short-term usage capable of withstanding temperatures exceeding 110°C. Additionally, their expansion and contraction coefficients should not be excessively high.
③ The pressure resistance of pipes and fittings must allow for long-term use under water pressure exceeding 10 bar, while also ensuring high strength, zero leakage, and no cracking. ④ Pipes and fittings should be corrosion-resistant and free from scaling.
⑤ The pipe material should have excellent thermal insulation and a low thermal conductivity.
⑥ The inner and outer walls of pipes and fittings should be smooth, have low flow resistance, feature soft colors, and boast an attractive design.
⑦ Use hot-melt connections; installation should be convenient and reliable.
⑧ The nominal pipe diameter of pipes and fittings should comply with specific manufacturing standards and ensure interchangeability; typically, the standard diameter here is DN20/25.
⑨ The design flow rate of the pipeline should not be too high; the water velocity inside the pipe should ideally not exceed 0.8 to 1.0 m/s. Excessive velocity would negatively impact system resistance, while too low a velocity could increase overall system costs. Therefore, careful consideration is essential when making your selection.
The "packaged" cooling devices primarily affect heat conduction, convection, and radiation—further impacting the heating efficiency of Qingdao radiators. Experiments have shown that rooms with "packaged" radiators are about 3°C warmer than those without such packaging. Additionally, radiators covered by "packaging" may make it difficult to promptly detect heating system malfunctions or to carry out easy inspections and maintenance. If you plan to renovate the interior, it’s recommended to either use a fully movable decorative cover—or ideally, avoid using any covering altogether—to ensure convenient access for repairing and maintaining the heating equipment.
